Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development, met the Prime Minister of Grenada, Dickon Mitchell, on Wednesday.
During the meeting, they discussed future development projects in Grenada, and ways to enhance and achieve sustainable development goals.
“Grenada is working with the Saudi Fund for Development to sign an agreement to support major infrastructure projects that will address Grenada’s ability to address and mitigate the effects of climate change in some key urban and rural tourist areas, including coastlines and beaches,” said Mitchell.
Al-Marshad said the Saudi Fund for Development is keen to support small island developing countries in overcoming economic, environmental and development challenges.
